School Streets

A School Street is where one or more roads (or a part of a road) near a school entrance temporarily close to motor traffic at the beginning and end of the school day.

A School Street creates a pedestrian and cycle only zone in order to protect the children at pick-up and drop-off times. Signs inform drivers of the restrictions before the entrance to the School Street.
