Art

At St Boniface school, art is taught by a subject specialist as part of our enrichment scheme.

Children are able to develop skills and explore a range of artistic processes in our designated art room. They have access to materials such as paints, pastels, textiles, clay and digital media to help them create their own artworks which are often displayed in school and with the wider community on the school website.

Our specialist art teacher works with class teachers to plan cross curricular lessons that take ideas and themes from other subjects such as History or English. Within these lessons, pupils explore the work of a range of artists, discover new skills and have an opportunity to express their creativity in a nurturing and creative working environment.

Our Enrichment fund donations ensure the children have a Art specialist teaching them for their classes.
