St Boniface RC Primary School

St Boniface RC Primary School

St Boniface is a Roman Catholic Primary School in the heart of Tooting. We are a happy and successful school, committed to providing the highest quality of education possible within a strong Catholic ethos. We value good manners, respect for others and hard work. We want our children to leave our school with high standards of English and maths – able to contribute to society as good and responsible citizens who are proud of their Catholic faith.

Reception Admissions

We encourage EVERYONE to apply, but preference will be given to practicing Catholic families, as per our Admissions criteria.

To apply for a Reception place, you must complete two forms.
1. Apply online with your borough (Wandsworth, Merton, Lambeth) - deadline 15 January 2021 (for September 2021 class).
2. Complete this Supplementary Information form and return it to the St Boniface school office (along with a copy of your birth & baptism certificates). Deadline 15 January 2021.

You can collect a paper copy of these application forms from the School Office.
Governors appreciate as much information as possible (as per Admissions criteria) so they can prioritise your application.

We are booking parents on small group tours every Tuesday with Mrs Anna Moloney (Head of Early Years). You can EMAIL or call the office to book.
Parents, you may also want to view the short video that the Reception staff made after lockdown to welcome back their new class.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What happens if I am unsuccessful in securing a place?  Please call the school office and ask to join our waitlist.  Between April and when school starts in September, there is a lot of movement.  If St Boniface has a space that becomes available, we start at the top of the waitlist and offer the place in order.

If my child is born in the Summer and I want to defer a Reception place, what do I do?   Our teachers and staff can help you decide if deferring a year is right for your child. Please talk come and talk with the Office staff.
You must still apply for a school Reception place (in your child's actual age group) by 15 January 2021 - both online with your Borough and by returning the Supplementary form to the Office, with birth & baptism certificates please.
