St Boniface RC Primary School

St Boniface is a Roman Catholic Primary School in the heart of Tooting. We are a happy and successful school, committed to providing the highest quality of education possible within a strong Catholic ethos. We value good manners, respect for others and hard work. We want our children to leave our school with high standards of English and maths – able to contribute to society as good and responsible citizens who are proud of their Catholic faith.

Reception Applications.
To apply for Reception, you must complete TWO forms:

2.   St Boniface also need you to complete our school Supplementary Information & Priest’s Declaration Form – HERE for 2020/2021.

The Supplementary & Priest’s Declaration Form needs to be completed and returned to the school by the online application deadline.  Completion of this form is not mandatory; however, if one is not received the Governors will not be able to apply their admission criteria and the application will be considered under the ‘any other children’ category.  Please bring your child's Baptism and Birth certificates when you drop off your forms to the office so we can take a copy.

Waiting Lists.
Reception:  If you are not successful in your St Boniface Reception application, the council will ask if you would like to remain on the St Boniface waiting list.
Many changes happen between April and September and the applicants are ranked according to the school’s oversubscription criteria in their admission arrangements.
You will remain on this list for the entire Year.  After the Reception year, St Boniface will contact you by post to ask if you want to remain on the Wait list.
In Year Waitlists:  We review these once a year and contact parents to ask if you want to remain on the list.  If a place comes up in your child's year and you are the next ranked family, St Boniface will contact you.  Preference is given to children with siblings already at our school.

Summer-born children : Deferring Reception.
Please come and speak with the school office if you are considering deferring.  Our teachers and staff can help you decide if deferring for a year is right for your child.
You must still apply for a school Reception place (in your child's actual age group) by the deadline.  Both online with your Borough and by returning out Supplementary Information & Priest’s Declaration Form.
